This coaster is cut from historic Yemassee White Oak reclaimed from the Marine receiving barracks that served the Corps for 50 years. From 1915–1965, the Yemassee Train Depot was the first stop for every Marine recruit traveling by train to Parris Island. Recruits disembarked, stiff-legged from long rides, met their first Marine NCOs, and stayed overnight in these very buildings before continuing their journey. Laser-engraved with the Belleau Wood Tavern insignia and “Forged on the Road to Parris Island,” this coaster is not just functional—it’s an heirloom. A tangible reminder of the generations who stood on the same planks before earning the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor. Includes Certificate of Authenticity. Kickstarter exclusive.
